College coaches from four states joined 95 unsigned seniors and underclassmen for the Hoop Mountain Midwest 2008 Spring Showcase Games held at West Aurora High School, Aurora, IL, on Sunday, April 13, 2008.

Ten teams  played three 40 minute games each with a running clock. Each player played for 20 minutes per game in order to give the players equal playing time before the college coaches who were scattered throughout the bleachers and along the out-of-bounds lines.

“I have been going to Showcase and Exposure games like these for years, and I think this was one of the best organized events   I  have ever attended,” a Wisconsin coach said. “ The 14 page   coach’s rosters we were given are well done and very complete, also.”

The coach’s rosters will be posted on the Hoop Mountain Midwest’s Web-Site and will be accessible to coaches only. Other Showcase information will also be posted on the Website and will be available to the general public.

“Because of the success of our Spring Showcase Games, we plan on putting on a Fall Showcase on a date yet to be determined,” said Ed Ross of Hoop Mountain Midwest.
