Our Midwest Head Coaches

GORDIE KERKMAN
Heads Veteran Coaching Staff

The West Aurora, (Il) Blackhawks, coached by Hall of Fame member Gordie Kerkman, have won over 600 games during his 32 year career as head coach. West Aurora won the Illinois Class AA State Championship in 2000 and placed second in the state once and third place four times during 10 "Elite 8" state final appearances.

His teams are always fundamentally sound and usually feature a blistering defense. Because he is held in such high regard by his fellow coaches, Kerkman has been able to assemble a sterling group of coaches from leading Midwest high schools and colleges.

Coach Kerkman will attend every session during the various camps in Bloomington and will be head coach at the Prep All-Stars Camps.
