John Baines
Shooting/Offense
Head Coach |
JULY 18-20, 2011, 3 Days, 2 Nights, Monday, 2:30 p.m. to Wednesday, 12:00 p.m.
Who should attend? Boys entering 6th grade through freshman in college in the fall of 2011 are eligible to attend. John Baines is coaching our 2011 Shooting/Offense Camp in place of Dave Weber who has other commitments that he could not get out of. However, John isn’t new to Hoop Mountain Midwest basketball camps. Upon accolades and recommendation from Hoop Mountain peers he returns as Head Coach for our Shooting/Offense Camp. His meticulous nature (Math Major) makes him the perfect candidate to breakdown the jump shot, free throw, three point shot, slashing ability, and coach on the offensive end.
Baines just finished his first year at University of St. Francis, (Joliet, IL) leading the Fighting Saints to a 13 game turnaround this past season and a 21-10 record. The Fighting Saints posted over 89 points on 5 different occasions this year credited to Baines’ offense. John also started on the 1997 NCAA Division III national championship team at Illinois Wesleyan University.
