Each camper will also be evaluated and critiqued by a shooting coach. These two sessions covering the printed information as well as the coach evaluations are included in the Shooting/Offense Camp registration fee. Moreover, each Shooting-Offense camper will be entitled to two extra Noah sessions.
Although Noah will not be a scheduled part of Hoop Mountain camps other than the Shooting-Offense camp, it will be available during meal times and in the evenings during the “Extra Help Session” time periods.
There will be a nominal fee for the Noah session and printed report. They can be charged either to the camper's “snack account” or prepaid at the time of registration at the camp. There will be no refunds given for unused sessions.

The cost of Noah sessions:

  • Pre-paid at registration-- 3 sessions for $12.
  • Individual sessions charged at camp time--$6 each

Supportive Technology:

The Noah Select Shooting System will be used at our Shooting-Offense camp. The Noah system provides electronic visual and voice feedback indicating needed improvement in shot arc and distance accuracy.
Campers will use the Noah System as a “Skill Station” evaluation twice during camp. They will use Noah at the start of camp and then near the end to evaluate their level of improvement.
At the end of both sessions, campers will receive a printed report which provides statistics of the session. Information covered includes the player's shooting arc for each shot taken, range of arc and distance, plus average arc and distance.

Great College Exposure:

Good news! This spring Hoop Mountain Midwest will apply for NCAA D-1 Certification for our July 5-8, 2010 Prep All-Stars Academy. The certification permits D-1 coaches and scouts to attend these camps which run during the NCAA's July “Evaluation Period”. As a result we will invite all D-1, D-2, D-3, NAIA, and community college coaches and scouts within a 300 mile radius of Bloomington, Illinois, to attend. However, we cannot forecast the actual number who will attend because of their individual schedules.
Prior to the camp, we will send a questionnaire to each Prep All-Stars camper requesting detailed information regarding his name, address, phone number, e-mail address, parent's names, coach, school, coach's phone number, height, weight, age, position, ACT, SAT, PSAT, GPA, honors and other stats. This information will be combined with similar information received from our other Prep All-Stars campers, consolidated into a roster spread-sheet, and given to the coaches and scouts who attend. In addition, it will be distributed to other colleges and universities on request.
